The key points
- The magazine sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising services.
- Your language choice (German or English) is stored only in your own browser (local storage) so that the magazine opens in that language next time. It is not sent to us.
- Fonts and images are loaded from our own server, not from third parties.
- We only receive personal data if you write to us yourself.
Hosting and server logs
The magazine is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. (Cloudflare Pages). When you visit it, the hosting provider processes technically necessary data such as IP address, time of access, page visited and browser identifier in order to deliver the page and protect it from misuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure and stable operation (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). This may involve a transfer to the USA.
Contact by email and newsletter requests
If you send us an email or a newsletter request via the form, your own email program opens. We process your address and message only to answer your request or to add you to the newsletter (Art. 6 (1) (a) and (b) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time by email. We delete the data as soon as it is no longer needed for this purpose.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15 to 21 GDPR). Please contact the email address above. You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example in your country of residence.
